This Just In: Trudeau

I just found out it’s been confirmed: I get to vote against Justin Trudeau! I do actually have a great deal of respect for his late father (not to be confused with support for every decision he made), but definitely not enough to vote for his party for sentimental reasons. Last I heard he wanted to run in Outremont, but I guess he didn’t want to take on the NDP. The last few year my riding’s been a tight (read: interesting) race, and should be this time too.

How do you know your country is a bit player internationally? When your fellow citizens are upset that the televised debate of the candidates for second-in-command of the country next door, conflicts with the televised debate of the candidates for secondfirst-in-command of your own country. I mean, come on, people! That’s what YouTube’s for.
